Oakland Nationals claim submitted after 48-hour waiver period.
48 hours was up at 12:32pm EST this afternoon. Boston Padres was lowest in the standings at the time of the posted "outright" on August 20.
Brantley claimed by Boston and will be added to the 40-man effective next scoring period.

Wasn't referring to that but since u mentioned it, u gave me Ortiz too lol. I know u have your own strategy to win but when people tank in this kind of scoring format, it effects everyone, good and bad.

Since when is building for the future when you know you can't finish in the top three "tanking"? Even if I were, which I'm not, not sure how it affects anyone but myself in a roto league. In a head to head league sure, but not in a roto league. Everyone benefits from a team falling in the standings, not one team in particular.

Since when is building for the future when you know you can't finish in the top three "tanking"? I think that's basically the definition of tanking? Anyways I've never had a problem with it!

I'm lost in this conversation.
We all need to field full and active lineups to the best of our ability each week. That's what I know.

Pretty sure tanking is purposely losing. I have never purposely "lost". I cut bait on a high number of 1 year veterans for a very specific reason. One you all will hopefully find out soon. Since when do I have to answer to other owners anyways? I paid the league fee just as everyone else has.

Guys please. End of conversation. If there's any "tanking" team it's not Tripp. This discussion doesn't belong in a Brantley outright/claim thread anyway.
Thanks.
