Drew and myself put this trade together very quickly. I reached out to him about Duke. Holds are one of my weakest categories, so I was looking for a good relief pitcher that would help bolster that. He has just been traded to the Cardinals, so I'm hoping that makes the deal even better (go Cards go!). Drew was willing to take on the expiring contracts of Liberatore and Morgan and Peterson was added to the deal to make it more viable. Nice easy talks with Drew. I like it!

Agree. I trade an expiring contract and get a prospect. Perfect deal between a contender and a rebuilder.

Commish approved.
FYI - Morgan who had been outrighted to Minors does not go to St. Louis Orioles Minors. That was an Atlanta transaction and as a MLB contract moving to St. Louis he's got to be on the 40-man. Drew can now outright him if he wants.
