I am proposing that we increase our minor leagues from a total of 60 to a total of 80. We are running into situation where owners are skipping picks in the minors draft due to not having enough open minors slots. If passed, this would into effect after the 2021 season.

I voted no...funny, I was wondering why the vote for. My reasons... A) having “only” 60 means having to make some difficult decisions, more studying and research. B) I think it puts more value on the monthly claims...ie a player that might have struggled and was cut, turns it around becomes someone. C) there are other leagues here that have bigger “prospects” teams. If that’s what people are looking for. D) I like lists.

My reasoning is similar to Ryan's #1. I prefer that tough decisions have to be made, rather than teams grabbing up every single prospect who might ever become something and then holding onto them until they are 27 and have definitely not become something. I like it better when teams have to prioritize and make the hard decision on whether to cut a guy who is having a tough go of it in order to snag the next hot name.

So here's my counter to that A) having 80 really shouldn't make that much if any different, as a person who is in DD3, 4, 5, 6..I have the same problems in 4, 5, and 6 with 100 as I do with this one at 60 B) monthly claims are just as valuable in the other leagues so I don't feel that changes going from 60 to 80 C) yes I'm in all of them

It surprises me with you Drew as you are in all the leagues as well, and have seen 1st hand how it's just as hard there as it is here, there are guys who I hold that are not top 100 guys but could be, there are guys I hold who may never be top 100 guys but could make an ML roster..I proposed a few months back to Brent that we go to 100 but i'm ok with an 80 compromise
