Reds receive: Colin Moran, 3B, PIT; 2019: 0.5M; 2020: 0.5M; 2021: 0.5M; 2022: 0.5M
Rockies receive: Pablo Lopez, RHP, MIA; 2019: 0.5M; 2020: 0.5M; 2021: 0.5M; 2022: 0.5M
I approached Sam with this deal very early in the season, and at the time the numbers on both players were awful; we agreed to wait it out and see whether both guys could put together a good stretch to show their potential and exactly that happened. At this stage in a pennant push, you have to look for pitching because in any given week in fantasy you could lose half your rotation. And Lopez has three solid pitches and a nice ballpark, and I'll take that right now in this pitching environment. A reasonable swap for Moran, who looks to be taking big step forward in hitting the ball hard in the air. As ever great shooting the breeze with Sam and hope that Moran emerges into a solid piece of his lineup for some time!

Henry's verses are like butter. LA REDS Agree. His recap of the trade is spot on. Although I was trading at a feverish pace, I wanted to slow this one down and see how things played out. I am losing a young quality arm but I am picking up a nice bat that hopefully continues to make progress and be a useful piece when I start to contend. Good Luck to the Rockies
