Hey guys. This is a general timeline of when things should happen in the offseason. Let's all try and be on the same page with these dates. If somebody has a conflict and isn't able to meet one of the deadlines, we can be flexible. Just let us all know. I'd like to keep to something like this for each offseason. It's worked pretty will in the other Diamond Duos leagues in recent years.
DECEMBER 15 Deadline to promote players who are no longer minor league eligible to the 40 man roster (have exceeded 130 AB or 50 IP) Deadline to promote players who were outrighted the previous year back to the 40 man roster Deadline to release minor league players
JANUARY 5 Deadline to exercise club options Minors draft begins. We plan on 12 rounds. You're only be allowed to pick as many players as you have Minors spots open for - maximum of 60. Deadline to designate Restricted Free Agents and declare Franchise and Prospect Tags:
JANUARY 19 Deadline to release players before free agency
FEBRUARY 15 (may push this to Feb 20 as Commish is away on vacation until Feb 18) Free agency begins (Restricted FA first round, then Unrestricted FA)

DECEMBER 15Deadline to promote players who were outrighted the previous year back to the 40 man roster Does this mean guys we sent down who cleared waivers need to be put back on the 40 man each season? Or is this just for rookie players who used the one time outright?

Yes it does. Anyone who was outrighted last year and cleared waivers and are sitting on your Minors roster. Those players are not minors eligible and must be promoted back to Majors 40-man or you lose them as a release and are on the hook for 25% of remaining seasons' salaries.
