Scratch my last post from Friday morning. With Jon leaving the league we commissioners feel the right thing to do is unlock Rodney and revert to the previous offer before Jon's $5M bid. Brian's offer of $2.2M is now the high standing offer. Once the new owners (Bryan & Ryan) join the league and are on the ProBoards site, I will start the 12 hour clock just in case they or any other teams that hadn't posted they were done at the time of Seattle's offer want to get in on Mr. Rodney. Questions? Sorry, don't ask.

Gentlemen, per our conversations and with Jon bailing on us, the co-Commissioners and I have decided to reopen Matusz and Rodney. If there are no raises then these guys will sell to the previous high offers:
Rodney - 1 year, $2.2M (AAS $2.2M) to Seattle Dodgers Matusz - 5 yrs, $6M (AAS $1.2M) to St. Louis Orioles
Both of these team still have the roster spot available and the cap space for these offers. There were 6 teams who still had not posted they were done with Free Agency when these previous offers were posted, so these teams would be allowed to raise if desired, if a roster spot is available and cap space is there. These teams are: *Chicago Cub Sox - but 40-man is now filled *Texas Giants - but 40-man is now filled *Oakland Nationals - 38 spots filled *Toronto Brewers - 37 spots filled *St. Louis Orioles - 39 spots filled *Seattle Dodgers - 38 spots filled *Miami Royals - of course they can raise if they want, previous owner had been in on both these guys - 38 spots currently filled after Matusz and Rodney were removed from their team
Clock starts again at 10:00am EST today 1/28. Seattle and St. Louis previous offers will stand until 10:00pm EST tonight unless another team raises.
Thanks everyone for your patience in this matter. I wanted to wait until the new Miami owners joined the league and got a handle on their roster (and I've been told their own Miami thread/roster will be up by Friday).
