Oakland sends:
C: Salvador Perez KC 18: $5m 19: $6m CF: Michael Taylor WSH 18:$1M, 19:$2M, 20:$3M SP: Tanner Roark WSH 18:$2M, 19:$3M P: Mychal Givens BAL 18: $2.35m 19: $2.35m 20: $2.35m RP: Michael Feliz PIT: 18: $500K 19: $500K 20: $500K
In return,
Pittsburgh sends:
C JT Realmuto (MIA) 18:1M(ARB1) / 19: 2M(ARB2) / 20: 3M(ARB3) P Tyler Glasnow (PIT) 18: 0.5M / 19: 0.5M / 20: 0.5M / 21: 0.5M RP Mark Melancon (SF) 18:14M / 19: 18M Prospect: Akil Baddoo
Oakland confirms. Great talks here led to a deal that should work for both of us. The real prize here for me is Realmuto, who was my target from the start. Due to Pitt's cap constraints, I had to take on Melancon, but with plenty of cap room I'm happy to bet on a bounce back there. Hate to lose all five of these guys who were good contributors for me last year, and I'll have some work to do to replace them, but I like Baddoo to jump up prospect lists this year and excited to see what Glasnow can bring to the table.

Accept. A fun back and forth with Brendan. I liked the players that I dealt, but in short felt the totality of the return would improve my team For the next 2-3 years. JT and Sal each are pretty valuable catchers with a slightly different skillset. Brendan might have got me in the long run here. I believe Roark will be an upgrade to my staff pitching in a soft NL east and Taylor will force the Nats to keep him on the field. Shedding Melancons deal was important to me and I like the back end bullpen potential for Feliz in Pittsburgh and Givens is a K machine in Baltimore. Hopefully a win-win for Oakland and Pitt.

Big trade fellas. Nicely done. Commish approved. Processing on Fantrax.
FYI, Michael Feliz is a Pittsburgh Pirate now in real life. I'll modify the trade post.
