Minnesota sends:
Aaron Hicks, OF, NYY-17:1M, 18:2M, 19:3M Christian Arroyo, SFG 17: $0, 18-21: $0.5M Jorge Alfaro, C, Phi (prospect)
NYM sends:
Gary Sanchez, C, NYY:17-20: 500K
New York agrees. We've talked a lot about Sanchez, I think I finally wore down. As a NYY fan I've also grown weary of Sanchez' play. Although a top 2 guy I think I did ok by replacing Almora, and helping me out next year by giving me a 3b with Arroyo, and Phi catchers aren't holdingAlfaro back (even if he isn't helping himself).

Minnesota agree.
As TJ mentioned I've enquired quite a bit about Sanchez, as the prospect of having possibly the top catcher in the game for a few years is an enticing one. As a result I ended up throwing out this offer. Hicks looks like a legit multicategory threat (esp in obp), I like Arroyo quite a bit and who knows with Alfaro but he is a high-upside lottery shot but I have the depth in majors and minors to consolidate these pieces into one stud. Hopefully it works out for us both!
Note: Arroyo is in his $O year, and will be $0.5M 2018-21, he has exceeded prospect eligibility.

Commish approved.
Actually, Arroyo has not yet exceeded prospect eligibility. He only has 125 AB. But if he was EVER in a starting lineup in ANY scoring period this year, then he MUST be $500K next year anyway.

Stupid me, in my mind the limit was 120 AB not 130.
On the lineup, have just checked and he was actually started in week 8 so it is as you say, this year is his $0 year and 18-21 he is $500k.
