Invalid bid by Oakland - he is at 38 active roster players and had two leading bids (Brad Hand & Brandon Moss) when he posted this - high bid reverts back to Boston.

You are not able to outright the three players you originally wanted to release because you are at max 60 minor leaguers.

Remember bids have to follow a strict format as stated by Scott. Each offer MUST include 1) Player's full name, 2) # of years, 3) total $$, 4) AAS, and 5) annual breakout if different from AAS.

All of those are contained here. Initial bid has the player's name.

Au contraire mon frere, as Scott stated (in the shoutbox):
"It's ok to just say last name in follow up raises, but years, total $ and AAS are required."

Are you saying that bid is invalid?

Here is what Scott stated on the Shoutbox:
"If we catch an invalid offer for format in time before another team raises, we will ask you to re-post it. Thank you."
I infer from that statement, that it indeed means the bid is invalid, however, you can reach out to Scott for bottom line clarification.

Come on guys. This is getting ridiculous.
Everything is archived. If I search Martinez 3 years from now we'll see these offers and may need to do that for one reason or another. If player's name isn't on a bid I don't want to make it invalid and hold the process up, but on the other hand it just needs to be there. It's not hard to list "My Team offers last name (doesn't have to be full name) 3 years, $9M (AAS $3M) and then annual breakouts if needed. Thank you.
FYI - Oakland's offer at 2:36pm EST stands as the high offer for VMart. 1 year, $6.5M (AAS $6.5M)
